Netcare 911 school of emergency, road paramedics and staff from St Augustine’s Hospital set up a demonstration at Ushaka Marine world to make the public aware of the importance of C P R .

Hundreds of people from all ages showed great interest as the medical staff interacted with them around the C P R dolls.

Even the very young had a chance to try their hand on the Baby dolls and had great fun.

With the shocking high number of drowning we advise the public take all precautions around pools and areas of entertainment. It is also advisable to be efficient in C P R as it is a proven fact that early C P R increases the chances of success in the resuscitation.
